About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Key business partner to the Strategic Sourcing teams supporting the management and optimization of global spend with suppliers and contract manufacturers across a diverse portfolio of products and brands.
- Leverage your financial expertise to drive strategic sourcing initiatives, deliver actionable insights, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.
- Drive category target achievement for specified categories through cash flow modeling, contract reviews, detailed spend analysis, and vendor negotiation support.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, collaborating closely with Strategic Sourcing teams to support the development and execution of category strategies for specified categories.
- Develop and deploy scalable processes, playbooks, standardized tools, and reporting capabilities to enhance visibility, improve internal efficiencies, and facilitate achievement of business targets across the sourcing organization.
- Analyze current and historical trends in key performance indicators for Purchased Components and Finished Goods to inform decision-making, identify productivity opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
- Partner on special projects, key business initiatives, and supplier proposals, providing recommendations and comprehensive financial analysis to inform objective decision-making aligned with category strategies for specified categories.
- Oversee the cost reduction database, set operating parameters, and facilitate audits for specified categories to ensure compliance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ plus years of prior related experience.
- Working knowledge of ERP and Financial reporting systems such as SAP, Hyperion, Essbase.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience with analytics tools such as Power BI and Alteryx.
