About the role
- Be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, and delivering annual business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Product Management, Quality, and Manufacturing Operations—to drive best-in-class supplier partnerships and ensure the highest standards of cost, quality, and delivery
- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for Motor Control Modules and PCBA, delivering value in productivity, service, quality, and innovation
- Lead supplier selection, contracting, and negotiation processes for new and existing electronic component suppliers
- Drive annual productivity improvements and cost optimization initiatives across the motor control module and PCBA category, in partnership with the Tier 2 Electronic Components and Engineering teams
- Track and report performance against goals and business metrics
- Lead and execute data analyses supporting the development and implementation of sourcing strategies
- Champion best practices in sourcing, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, driving value through effective supplier management and business reviews
- Stay ahead of market trends and leverage insights to advance category strategies
- Effectively influence, communicate, and lead at all levels within the company
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing, engineering, supply chain or finance, ideally with a strong track record in electronic components or related fields
- Highly analytical and results-focused, with a passion for driving measurable business outcomes
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in advanced sourcing techniques, supplier management, and contract negotiation
- Global mindset with experience working in international and multi-cultural environments
