About the role
- Achieve sales targets by promoting DEWALT, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, PORTER-CABLE, and other SBD brands to end-user customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with end-user partners, managing CORE and other SBD user contracts and programs
- Mentor your local market team on end-user development, including identifying key contacts and aligning efforts with local teams, product managers, distributors, and service centers
- Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives
- Utilize Salesforce.com as a CRM and planning tool, communicating successes and opportunities for process improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in informal Business Management, Marketing, or related field preferred; relevant construction field experience may substitute for education
- 3+ years of sales or marketing experience in construction supplies, with a proven track record and experience selling to high-level executives and jobsite directors preferred
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to combine empathy with determination to achieve outstanding results
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory
