About the role
- The HR Business Partner role is high-impact with responsibility for a dispersed client group
- Provides full range of day-to-day HR support for Outdoor Brands teams (organizational development, talent management, employee relations, training & development, performance management, HR projects)
- Serves as transactional and tactical partner; supports HR leadership's strategic initiatives for Outdoor Brands
- Hybrid role, Outdoor HR team, Valley City, OH (preferred) or Towson, MD
- You’ll drive people strategy, organizational design, compensation structures, recruitment, and change management
- Acts as trusted advisor on policy interpretation, employee relations, development, recognition, etc.
- Builds a positive culture; analyzes HR data to provide insights; partners with COE model; supports non-exempt/exempt workforce
Requirements
- At least 5-8 years of progressive HR generalist responsibility with multiple functions
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master in HR or MBA preferred
- Experience working with remote workforce in a matrix environment
- Ability to analyze, interpret and present data to leadership using Workday reporting functions
- Consultative approach, strategic mindset
- Customer-focused, adaptable with strong follow up and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience fostering collaborative working relationships with business partners and decision-makers
- Ability to plan, manage, and track projects and communicate with multiple parties
- Resourceful, able to navigate internal and external channels
- Executive presence, professional demeanor and strong business acumen
- Experience with Workday and ADP or similar HR systems; comfortable using data for insights
- Ability to operate in ambiguous situations
