About the role
- Responsible for Annual Cost Roll and Quarterly Cost Update processes for the Americas region
- Perform purchase price variance (PPV) analysis for centralized locations
- Lead centralization of standard costing for all distribution centers and manufacturing
- Prepare and report out on information related to the annual cost roll and other costing initiatives
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Master Data Team, Commercial and Finance functions to identify and implement process improvement initiatives, including automation opportunities
- Support INFOR implementation projects as required
- Develop and maintain costing policy documentation and trainings
- Perform standard costing activities for new products
- Assist in the resolution of blocked invoices due to cost differences
- Perform other assignments as requested
Requirements
- BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in cost accounting, auditing, general accounting, controllership and/or other financial roles
- Multi-plant and multi-country manufacturing cost accounting experience preferred
- INFOR Costing (FICO) experience preferred
- Experience in U.S. multi-national public company; working knowledge of US GAAP
- Previous experience with process improvement projects
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage several tasks concurrently
- Strong PC skills in a wide variety of applications
- Ability to identify and coordinate the automation of manual processes
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail orientation and strong analytical and decision-making skills
