Responsible for Annual Cost Roll and Quarterly Cost Update processes for the Americas region
Perform purchase price variance (PPV) analysis for centralized locations
Lead centralization of standard costing for all distribution centers and manufacturing
Prepare and report information related to the annual cost roll and other costing initiatives
Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Master Data Team, Commercial and Finance to identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities
Support INFOR implementation projects as required
Develop and maintain costing policy documentation and trainings
Perform standard costing activities for new products
Assist in resolution of blocked invoices due to cost differences
Perform other assignments as requested
Requirements
BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in cost accounting, auditing, general accounting, controllership and/or other financial roles
Multi-plant and multi-country manufacturing cost accounting experience preferred
INFOR Costing (FICO) experience preferred
Experience in U.S. multi-national public company; working knowledge of US GAAP
Previous experience with process improvement projects
Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage several tasks concurrently
Strong PC skills in a wide variety of applications
Ability to identify and coordinate the automation of manual processes
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail orientation and strong analytical and decision-making skills
