About the role

  • Field Sales Representative for Stanley Black & Decker's Stanley Engineered Fastening (SEF) - Nelson Stud Welding Sales team.
  • Remote employee covering East Coast, New England territory, United States.
  • Service existing accounts and develop new customers in Construction, Industrial, and Specialty markets.
  • Provide technical advisory for equipment sales, setup, field training, process improvement, and equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Travel up to 30% overnight.

Requirements

  • Sell and promote the process of stud welding including Nelson fasteners, accessories and stud welding equipment.
  • Be responsible for customers and prospects in the Construction, Industrial, and Specialty (shipbuilding) markets.
  • Function as a technical adviser for equipment sales and setup, field training, process improvement, and equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and proven field sales experience and relationship-building skills.
  • Associate degree and/or trade school education or a bachelor’s degree in business/engineering is preferred.
  • Must live in a location that can support the territory (East Coast, New England Area) and are comfortable with up to 30% overnight travel.
  • Outgoing, personable, and a strong communicator.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Windows OS.
