About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the preparation, review, and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in conformity with U.S. GAAP and applicable non-profit reporting standards
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors on technical accounting and reporting matters
- Provide support for bond offerings, debt covenant compliance reporting
- Evaluate complex and non-routine transactions and document accounting conclusions under U.S. GAAP
- Champion internal controls and risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate across finance and enterprise teams to align reporting with strategic objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required
- Eight (8) or more years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience, including previous management responsibility
- Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, including non-profit accounting standards (ASC 958, ASC 954)
- Strong working knowledge of revenue recognition (ASC 606), leases (ASC 842), investments, debt, and business combinations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and financial reporting systems
- Knowledge of hospital information systems, including Epic
- Experience pulling and joining large data sets and performing analysis using tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI and Power Automate
- CPA - Certified Public Accountant
