About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the preparation, review, and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in conformity with U.S. GAAP and applicable non-profit reporting standards
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors on technical accounting and reporting matters
  • Provide support for bond offerings, debt covenant compliance reporting
  • Evaluate complex and non-routine transactions and document accounting conclusions under U.S. GAAP
  • Champion internal controls and risk mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate across finance and enterprise teams to align reporting with strategic objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required
  • Eight (8) or more years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience, including previous management responsibility
  • Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, including non-profit accounting standards (ASC 958, ASC 954)
  • Strong working knowledge of revenue recognition (ASC 606), leases (ASC 842), investments, debt, and business combinations
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and financial reporting systems
  • Knowledge of hospital information systems, including Epic
  • Experience pulling and joining large data sets and performing analysis using tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI and Power Automate
  • CPA - Certified Public Accountant
