About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and execute audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through completion
Perform risk assessments and tailor audit approaches based on client operations and industry considerations
Conduct substantive testing of financial transactions, internal controls, and account balances
Ensure financial statements and supporting documentation comply with applicable accounting and auditing standards
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients
Communicate engagement progress, findings, and recommendations clearly and proactively
Manage multiple engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards
Stay current on evolving GAAP, auditing standards, and industry trends

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2+ years of public accounting experience focused on audit, review, and compilation engagements
Employee Benefit Plan audit experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and auditing standards
Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA licensure preferred
Experience working with clients in AEC, Manufacturing, or related industries
Experience with audit software, data analytics tools, and/or CCH Engagements
