About the role

  • Plan, design, and deliver scalable software for Stake
  • Build highly available systems and contribute to architectural solutions
  • Implement technologies and manage software products in a fast-growing business
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of complex technical projects
  • Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code
  • Own systems, participate in on-call rotation and act as escalation point for high priority issues
  • Provide development effort estimates and ensure timely delivery of solutions

Requirements

  • Plan, design, and deliver scalable software
  • Build highly available systems
  • Contribute to design and architecture of complex technical projects
  • Contribute high-quality, maintainable, and testable code
  • Deeply own the systems you build and thrive in an on-call environment
  • Provide development effort estimates and ensure timely delivery
  • Experience with Golang preferred but not required; ability to learn
  • Familiarity with Tech stack: Golang, CockroachDB, Pub/Sub, gRPC, Redis, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Datadog
  • Ability to work in Australia (100% remote from anywhere in Australia)
