About the role
- Manage the scope lifecycle: opening codes, ensuring accurate invoices, managing third party costs, ensuring accuracy of client POs, reconciling billing against WIP, and closing jobs
- Foster relationships with non-finance teams to manage PO management, processing/payment of third party costs, and billing accuracy based on scopes of work and agreed payment terms
- Oversee billing and payment schedules to ensure accurate and prompt submissions and receipts
- Manage multiple workstreams and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines
- Lead timesheet management to ensure timely submission, approval and accuracy of timesheets
- Review aged WIP balances to ensure WIP is billed on a timely basis
- Act as a proactive finance partner to client teams and solve client-related finance issues
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a client finance role in an agency environment
- Strong organizational skills to track outstanding requests and follow up consistently to receive necessary information from non-finance teams
- Strong interpersonal, writing and communication skills
- Flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Attention to detail imperative
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with Maconomy, One Stream a plus
