About the role

  • Support monthly and quarterly FP&A activities (budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis)
  • Extract, transform, and analyse financial data from GCP BigQuery linked to Maconomy
  • Build and maintain automated reports and dashboards for regular financial cycles
  • Validate and reconcile financial data outputs to ensure reporting accuracy
  • Collaborate with the AAEE team to identify efficiency opportunities in financial reporting
  • Document processes and maintain data flow clarity between Maconomy, GCP, and reporting tools

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in finance, accounting, or financial planning and analysis
  • Proficiency in SQL, with proven experience writing and optimising queries
  • Comfortable working with data extracted from multiple systems
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Basic knowledge of, or willingness to learn, Python for automation tasks
  • Understanding of, or exposure to, cloud platforms (preferably GCP)
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to data integrity
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Desirable: Experience with financial systems integration or reporting automation
  • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g. Looker, Power BI, or Data Studio)
  • Exposure to ETL processes or data modelling
