About the role

  • Build, extend, and maintain REST APIs for internal and external applications
  • Develop background workers and queue-driven processes to support business workflows
  • Implement integrations using Azure Service Bus and other messaging frameworks
  • Design and develop solutions following microservices architecture principles
  • Optimize database queries and performance for SQL Server and other data stores
  • Apply best practices in Kubernetes/container orchestration and cloud deployments
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps and QA, to deliver reliable and scalable applications
  • Maintain code quality and version control using Git
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers where applicable

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in .NET/C# development
  • Strong understanding of REST API design and implementation
  • Experience with microservices architecture
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Service Bus, Storage)
  • Experience with message queues, background workers, and asynchronous processing
  • Proficient in SQL Server, database design, and query optimization
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools
  • Solid knowledge of Git and version control best practices
  • Experience in designing scalable cloud-based solutions
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize for performance
  • Mentorship or team lead experience
