About the role
- Update and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
- Prepare journal entries and accruals for monthly and yearly closings
- Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting schedules
- Help with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
- Track and record fixed assets and depreciation
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation
- Make sure all accounting records follow company policies and accounting standards
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of accounting experience, especially in general ledger and accrual accounting
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data organization)
- Experience using ERP systems (any type; Zoho preferred)
- Good understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
