About the role
- Lead the daily execution of all project work including maintenance tasks and enhancement releases
- Manage the full sprint lifecycle including sprint planning, daily check‑ins, demos and retrospectives
- Coordinate communication across technical teams, business stakeholders and State leadership
- Create and manage project schedules, release plans, resource allocations and risk logs
- Ensure scope, timelines and quality remain aligned with contract expectations
- Oversee change control work, issue resolution and escalation management
- Track deliverables and ensure every release meets system, business and technical requirements
- Provide clear weekly status reports and roadmap updates
- Support UAT planning, deployment readiness and post‑release validation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the State
- Maintain compliance with service level agreements and all contract obligations
Requirements
- Five or more years of technical project management experience in Agile environments
- Experience managing projects of similar size and complexity using Scrum or Kanban
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to guide, influence and coordinate cross‑functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree
- Project Management Professional or Scrum certification preferred
