About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Respond to incoming calls, messages, and email from applicants and providers
- Serve as a central contact point for provider enrollment, provider requirements and education, investigations, and compliance review scheduling
- Coordinate with the project management team to refer non-HCBS questions to the appropriate department or team
- Enter clear and concise contact notes summarizing interactions and communications
- Conduct phone and email outreach to assist with completing and submitting applications
- Inform applicants and providers about resources and tools supporting the application process
- Reply to email requests from providers and applicants
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 years of customer service experience
- Minimum of 2 years of paid experience working with critical care providers, public health providers, or providers serving children, older adults, persons with traumatic brain injury, or persons with developmental disabilities
- One year of experience must include provider monitoring, Medicaid or third-party payer provider billing, or provider training
- One year of experience must be in a home health, community health, hospital, private practice, publicly funded institution, long-term care, mental health, community-based social service, or similar special-populations program
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and accuracy
- Ability to manage calls efficiently and meet established handle-time goals
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to provide clear instructions on documents, requirements, and next steps
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with a remote team
- Experience using Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint, or ability to learn new systems and processes
- Must be available Monday–Friday during standard project hours, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM Eastern
- 36 months of paid experience working with providers may substitute for a bachelor's degree and 2 years of paid provider experience
