About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize excess inventory.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, reduce lead times, and optimize warehouse operations.
  • Plan and execute stock replenishment strategies to ensure consistent availability of products.
  • Design and report on metrics for the supply chain and procurement functions.
  • Utilize inventory management software and systems to track inventory movements and maintain accurate records.
  • Update master data within QAD to ensure effective operations of ERP.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and logistics, to align inventory management with overall business objectives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in inventory management, supply chain, or related fields is preferred, with strong emphasis on experience within a manufacturing environment to understand production workflows, inventory movements, and operational constraints.
  • Solid understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) principles, including planning parameters, lead times, BOM structures, and the ability to interpret and action MRP outputs effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and make accurate, data-driven decisions that support production planning and inventory accuracy.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software, QAD ERP systems, MRP modules, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present insights, planning outcomes, and recommendations to cross-functional teams.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory records, data validation, and ensuring alignment between system information and physical stock.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively.
