About the role
- The Salesforce Technical Architect is accountable for the end-to-end technical architecture, build quality, and engineering standards of Salesforce solutions delivered across client programs.
- This role leads technical design decisions across Salesforce clouds and integrated systems to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, performant, and maintainable.
- You will operate across delivery leadership, hands-on engineering oversight, and client advisory, guiding teams from design through production readiness.
- Own the technical architecture across Salesforce programs, including data model, integration patterns, automation strategy, environment strategy, and deployment approach.
- Define and enforce engineering standards across Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations, security controls, and DevOps practices.
- Make architecture trade-offs balancing business outcomes, delivery speed, and long-term maintainability.
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and hands-on problem solving for complex build items.
- Lead design and development of custom solutions using Apex, LWC, Lightning APIs, asynchronous processing, and event-driven patterns.
- Drive configuration-first delivery, using code strategically for scale, performance, and user experience.
- Ensure robust test coverage, quality gates, and release readiness across custom development.
- Design integrations across internal and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, Change Data Capture, middleware patterns, and secure authentication.
- Define data migration and data quality approaches including mapping, transformation, reconciliation, and cutover planning.
- Ensure solutions meet security and privacy requirements including access controls, secure coding, auditability, data classification, and least-privilege design.
- Partner with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and client stakeholders to shape technical scope and delivery approach.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect (or 3-5 years of Senior Development stepping into TA), ideally in consulting or delivery environments.
- Strong hands-on capability across Apex and Lightning Web Components, including performance considerations and secure coding practices.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering integrations (APIs, middleware, event-driven patterns) and supporting production operations.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform limits, asynchronous architecture, data modelling, and automation patterns (Flow plus programmatic extensions).
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps practices including source control, branching, CI/CD, automated testing, packaging/metadata management, and environment governance.
- Strong approach to release management, deployment planning, and production readiness including rollback and operational monitoring.
- Confident client-facing communication, able to explain options, trade-offs, and architecture decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to mentor developers, set standards, uplift quality, and drive consistent delivery outcomes.
Benefits
- HMO, Dental, and Life Insurance for you and one free dependent from day one (with option to enroll more)
- Paid Leaves: Birthday, Vacation, Medical, and Maternity (up to 6 Vacation Leaves convertible to cash on your anniversary)
- Employee Engagement Activities: Year-End Party, Family Day, Team Building, and more
