About the role

  • Work directly with clients to translate business needs into powerful data solutions.
  • Engage with stakeholders – Facilitate workshops, gather data requirements, and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives.
  • Design and implement data solutions – Work with Power BI (DAX), Data Engineering (SQL), or both to create scalable analytics solutions.
  • Apply data best practices to ensure solutions are efficient, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate on projects – Work on large enterprise initiatives or smaller agile projects, leveraging modern data platforms like Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Snowflake, or Databricks.
  • Build dashboards, data pipelines, and AI-enhanced analytics that drive business decisions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends with allocated learning time, access to Microsoft training, and opportunities to experiment with emerging AI-driven solutions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in relevant field
  • Business Intelligence OR Data Engineering expertise: Power BI (DAX) – Intermediate level required.
  • SQL (for data engineering) – Intermediate level required.
  • Understanding of data modelling principles and best practices.
  • Ability to workshop data requirements with business users.
  • Experience in Synapse, Databricks, or Snowflake (Fabric is a plus).
  • Understanding of data pipelines, ETL, or analytics workflows.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior executives.
  • Ability to explain complex data concepts in simple terms.
