Engineer

• You will develop tomorrow’s gas, heat and H₂ networks.
• You will create innovative concepts, optimize network structures and make a decisive contribution to the heat transition.
• You will develop forward-looking target network plans for district heating networks up to 125°C and 16 bar operating pressure.
• You will prepare network development plans and regional planning in the context of the energy and heat transition.
• You will create and update operational network models using modern calculation and simulation software.
• You will derive measures for the technical, commercial, regulatory and environmental optimization of the networks.
• You will advance new specialist topics, e.g., the development of H₂ network strategies.

Engineer, Network Planning – Gas & Heat

• You develop the strategic target network planning for the power grids (110 kV, 10 kV, 0.4 kV) and design the network topology.
• You are also involved in the data/networking side: you plan the interconnections of assets such as local distribution substations, transformer substations, pumping stations and heat transfer stations — with a focus on a smart, interconnected infrastructure.
• You monitor our networks — you continuously review and assess the networks and connected customers based on our network model, including planned extensions or changes.
• Using state-of-the-art simulation and network calculation software, you create and update network models that form the basis of our strategic planning.
• You derive measures to make our power networks technically available and fit for future regulatory requirements — from efficiency improvements to digital transformation.

• Budgetplanung, Ergebnisverantwortung sowie Sicherstellung einer wirtschaftlichen Leistungserbringung

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Your responsibilities include daily monitoring of liquidity as well as preparing monthly and annual liquidity forecasts — including planning, analysis and reporting.
• You handle communication with our house banks, coordinate financing and maintain sustainable banking relationships across the entire SWP group.
• You support the annual financial statements of Stadtwerke Potsdam GmbH and our subsidiaries and participate in monthly closing activities.
• You authorize payments and manage the online payment processing for our affiliated companies.
• As team leader, you provide professional direction to your staff, offer guidance, develop skills and actively shape collaboration.
• You are the contact person and project manager for the implementation of IT applications (S/4 HANA, LucaNet) in Treasury.
