About the role
- You play a key role in planning and implementing projects in the field of renewable energy and the heat transition in and around Augsburg (wind power, photovoltaics, battery storage, decarbonization of district heating)
- You support innovative funded projects for forward-looking heat and power solutions by conducting in-depth research and data analyses and by preparing project reports and presentations
- In addition, you perform cost–benefit analyses of projects in the areas of renewable energy as well as heat and decarbonization strategies
- Your responsibilities also include project management support, particularly preparing and following up on meetings, and professional minute-taking and documentation
- You help drive the digital transformation of one of the region’s largest employers by further developing concepts for digital collaboration, leveraging tools and AI applications, and promoting their adoption across the company
Requirements
- You are an enrolled student (m/f/d) in Industrial Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Energy Economics, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable program (advanced bachelor semester or beginning a master’s degree)
- You can support us for at least 20 hours per week for a minimum of one year; full-time work is also possible during lecture-free periods
- Ideally, you already have initial experience in project management as well as in data analysis and economic feasibility/profitability calculations
- You have strong MS Office skills (particularly Excel) and an affinity for AI tools and digital working methods
- You work independently and in a structured manner and are characterized by a willingness to learn, personal responsibility and the ability to work in a team
- You have German language skills of at least C1 to enable successful collaboration in projects and meetings
