About the role

  • You are the group-wide, central trusted advisor and sparring partner for all strategic and operational matters, projects and inquiries related to payroll and time management.
  • You independently develop and are responsible for solutions to complex payroll issues and design new and innovative service offerings.
  • You actively drive the digitalization and optimization of our processes, proactively engage with the various stakeholders across the group and participate in group-wide projects.
  • You are the group's central contact for external auditors and authorities as well as for internal managers.
  • You lead and inspire our technically proficient payroll and time management team in a disciplinary capacity and foster a respectful working environment to ensure monthly payroll is accurate and submitted on time.
  • You develop team members individually through coaching and training and promote collaboration within the team and across teams.

Requirements

  • Degree with an HR focus or equivalent qualification and experience (e.g., completed commercial vocational training plus advanced qualification as a certified HR specialist / Personalfachkaufmann/-frau).
  • At least 5 years of experience in payroll and in leading teams.
  • Confident handling of SAP HCM PY (personnel administration, customizing, reporting, management reporting and controlling).
  • Solid knowledge of tax, social security and labor law, as well as experience conducting internal controls and audits.
  • Extensive, long-standing experience ensuring compliance with statutory, collective-bargaining and internal requirements.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational talent and enthusiasm for change.
  • High level of discretion and quality awareness – German language level: at least C1 for successful collaboration.
