Key responsibilities & impact

Architect and build robust, scalable web applications using React.js and Next.js
Own significant features end to end, from technical design through rollout
Drive frontend performance through server-side rendering, static generation, bundle-size optimization, Core Web Vitals, and caching strategy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features that enhance user engagement
Improve quality through code reviews, refactoring, testing practices, and technical debt reduction
Mentor mid-level and junior engineers and grow the team’s frontend capability
Stay current with emerging web-development technologies and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional experience building production web applications with JavaScript
5+ years of professional experience with React.js
Hands-on production experience with Next.js, including server-side rendering, static generation, and routing
Deep understanding of functional components, hooks, state management, context, memoization, rendering behavior, and lifecycle
Strong command of ES6+, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Redux or a similar state-management library
Proven experience designing and integrating REST-based third-party APIs
Experience with frontend performance optimization, debugging, and browser testing
Experience with modern build tooling such as Webpack or Babel and frontend deployment pipelines
Track record of leading code reviews, refactoring legacy code, and improving engineering standards
Ability to analyze, clarify, and scope requirements independently
High attention to detail and strong visualization of UI/UX
Preferred: Google Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, SEO for server-rendered applications, component libraries, design systems, monorepo tooling, automated testing, feature flagging, progressive rollouts, asynchronous or distributed teams, mentoring, and technical initiative leadership
Clear communication and confidence to challenge and be challenged
Curious, proactive, and generous with knowledge
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative product environment
Strong desire to build real products that solve real problems
