About the role
- Plan and execute infrastructure projects that align with business objectives and industry best practices
- Oversee deployment, integration, and optimization of infrastructure solutions, ensuring seamless interoperability across servers, storage, networking, and cloud environments
- Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure clarity, accountability, and on-time delivery
- Identify risks early, manage compliance obligations, including cybersecurity threats and operational disruptions to ensure projects run securely and reliably
- Guide organizations through change, minimizing disruption during migrations or upgrades while ensuring business continuity
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of project plans, implementation activities, configurations, and compliance measures
- Generate regular progress reports, status updates, and post-implementation reviews for stakeholders and senior management
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures for infrastructure initiatives
- Provide technical leadership to ensure seamless transitions and minimal downtime during infrastructure changes
Requirements
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in IT project management or project coordination
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure with a focus on data protection, data center, or cloud computing
- Proven track record leading projects from planning through delivery, balancing scope, budget, and timelines
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex projects in parallel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing clear reports, status updates, and stakeholder documentation
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate across technical and business teams
- Experience with infrastructure solutions (EMC, Palo Alto, Cisco, VMware is an asset)
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, MS Project, ServiceNow, SharePoint, NetSuite)
- Comfort with technical concepts and the ability to translate them for non-technical audiences
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM or CISSP are considered an asset
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in healthcare, enterprise, or public sector environments
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (nice-to-have)
