About the role

  • Analyze and document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories for software development projects using MS Azure DevOps
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define project goals and scope
  • Work with Developers, QA Analysts, and Project Managers to lead requirements-gathering sessions, design solutions, and provide technical guidance
  • Identify and address process inefficiencies, recommending improvements and controls
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and draft progress reports
  • Maintain system protocols by updating procedures and tracking requirement changes
  • Utilize MS SQL and Optimus queries to extract data analytics that support requirements gathering
  • Support administration of processes, reporting, investigation, analysis, design, development, and testing requirements for projects and system updates

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst working on software development projects
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages, web technologies, and database systems
  • Experience with MS Azure DevOps (or equivalent tools like Jira)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other CRM platforms
  • Experience with data visualization and data modeling tools (specifically Power BI)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create clear documentation and explain complex process flows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • CBAP, PMP, CSM, CSPO, CDMP, and ITIL certifications are considered assets
Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $50.00 - 60.00/hour (must be incorporated)
