About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deploy, configure, maintain, and optimise OT systems infrastructure across critical data centre environments.
- Support Windows, Linux, VMware, and virtualised platforms to maintain performance, resilience, security, and service continuity.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues or bottlenecks, and implement improvements to support high availability.
- Troubleshoot complex incidents, work with internal teams and vendors, and help drive root cause resolution and preventive actions.
- Apply security, operational, and regulatory best practices in high-availability environments.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience as a Systems Engineer in an enterprise, critical infrastructure, or data centre environment.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, VMware-based virtualisation, and secure, high-availability infrastructure.
- Understanding of security best practices, patching, backup, and system resilience.
- Experience with scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell or Ansible is beneficial.
- Familiarity with OT systems such as BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLCs, or HMIs would be an advantage.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with Italian and English language ability at B2/C1 level.
