About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deploy, configure, maintain, and optimise OT systems infrastructure across critical data centre environments.
Support Windows, Linux, VMware, and virtualised platforms to maintain performance, resilience, security, and service continuity.
Monitor system performance, identify issues or bottlenecks, and implement improvements to support high availability.
Troubleshoot complex incidents, work with internal teams and vendors, and help drive root cause resolution and preventive actions.
Apply security, operational, and regulatory best practices in high-availability environments.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience as a Systems Engineer in an enterprise, critical infrastructure, or data centre environment.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, VMware-based virtualisation, and secure, high-availability infrastructure.
Understanding of security best practices, patching, backup, and system resilience.
Experience with scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell or Ansible is beneficial.
Familiarity with OT systems such as BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLCs, or HMIs would be an advantage.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with Italian and English language ability at B2/C1 level.
