About the role
- Modernize a legacy system into a secure, cloud-native solution.
- Design and implement responsive React UI components for a client's portal.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs (Python microservices / Django Rest Framework).
- Support compliance and security requirements in a HIPAA-sensitive environment.
- Contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and cross-functional workshops.
- Participate in project kickoff and MVP delivery.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines; support mentoring and pairing sessions.
Requirements
- React (5+ years, professional projects)
- Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript / ES6+
- Solid experience with responsive UI development
- REST API integration experience
- Availability to overlap 4 hours during PDT working hours
- Advanced spoken and written English skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Nice-to-Have: Azure ecosystem familiarity
- Nice-to-Have: CI/CD pipelines, observability (ELK / Prometheus)
