About the role

  • Stack is developing revolutionary AI and advanced autonomous systems for autonomous trucking.
  • Dynamic World Perception team responsible for real-time detection and classification of road actors and properties.
  • Lead development, maintenance, and enhancement of long-range detection capabilities and occupancy networks.
  • Expand and fuse detection models, improve model frameworks, architecture, and data pipelines.
  • Develop robust onboard software optimized for real-time, resource-constrained, safety-critical environments.
  • Drive cross-functional features from problem statement to delivery and contribute to technical direction.
  • Align stakeholders, present effectively, and lead challenging technical topics to build consensus.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience architecting, training, and deploying deep learning models into real-world environments.
  • Track record of driving applied research projects from start to completion, including conception, problem definition, experimentation, iteration, and finally publication or productization.
  • Experience delivering detection, segmentation, and/or tracking solutions for real-time robotic applications.
  • Prior experience in sensor fusion is highly desirable.
  • Strong experience in software engineering and machine learning algorithm design.
  • Strength in C++ and experience with Python.
