About the role
- Take overall responsibility for quality management at the site
- Lead and develop a seven-person team both disciplinarily and technically
- Optimize the quality management system and ensure standards, processes and compliance
- Take ownership of sustainability and certification topics
- Ensure quality across the entire value chain
- Define and manage quality-related KPIs, standards, training and internal workshops
- Support and further develop the integration of the laboratory into the quality management system
- Manage quality costs and support quality-related decision making.
Requirements
- Completed degree in engineering or natural sciences, or a comparable qualification
- Additional qualifications as a Quality Manager and as an Auditor
- Several years of solid experience in quality management within a manufacturing company
- Practical experience with quality-related methods and tools (e.g., SPC, process capability analyses, complaint management)
- Confident user of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISCC)
- Ideally experienced with SAP (QM), CAQ systems (e.g., CAQ 1-2-3-4) and MES-Hydra
- Good understanding of production processes, supply chains and interfaces
- Several years of leadership experience
- Good German and English language skills
- Structured working style and strong sense of responsibility.
