About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and evolve the product vision, strategy and value proposition for the next phase of the Medicare Mental Health Check In Program
- Translate strategic priorities into an evidence-based product roadmap with defined outcomes and success measures
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from hypothesis and business case through design, build, launch, adoption and optimisation
- Use consumer, clinician and stakeholder insights to improve awareness, access, onboarding, engagement, treatment outcomes and continuity of care
- Lead continuous discovery with help seekers, carers, practitioners and healthcare professionals, including underserved and priority populations
- Partner with clinical, operational, technology and design teams to define problems and deliver effective solutions
- Work with Growth and Communications to strengthen market propositions, referral pathways, launch plans and adoption
- Lead product governance and prioritisation, balancing opportunities, dependencies and investment decisions
- Build an integrated view of product performance across consumer, clinical, operational, financial and digital measures
- Coordinate relevant TGA regulatory pathways for functionality that is, or may be, regulated as Software as a Medical Device
- Ensure product decisions meet clinical safety, privacy, cyber security, accessibility, quality, regulatory and contractual requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in innovative product management or service design, ideally within healthcare
- Demonstrated ability to improve consumer experience, streamline processes and drive service excellence
- Strong ability to translate patient and customer insights into actionable product strategies
- Demonstrated analytical and research skills, with the ability to turn complex data and policy into operational outcomes
- Strategic and systems thinking, supported by strong business, commercial and financial acumen
- Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments and building alignment and consensus
- Strong self-motivation, initiative and adaptability in changing environments
- Excellent written, verbal, digital communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to conceptualise and clearly articulate solutions
- Tertiary qualifications in business, health administration or a related field
- Experience within not-for-profit, social enterprise or health sector organisations, and understanding of emerging trends across health and technology, highly regarded
