About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver culturally safe, evidence-based mental health interventions
  • Provide therapy via telephone, video and digital platforms
  • Undertake comprehensive mental health and risk assessments

  • Work closely with Clinical Supervisors and multidisciplinary colleagues

  • Help shape a new national digital mental health service
  • Support people experiencing mild to moderate anxiety, depression, stress and related mental health concerns

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants only
  • Minimum two years' experience supporting people experiencing mental health concerns
  • Experience delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Low Intensity CBT or other structured therapeutic interventions
  • Strong understanding of culturally safe, trauma-informed and person-centred practice
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence working within digital health environments
  • Collaborative approach aligned with St Vincent's Mission and Values
  • Professional registration where applicable and satisfaction of pre-employment checks
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Three-week full-time orientation, induction and training required before clinical practice
  • Seven-day rotating roster after training
