About the role

Requirements
What you’ll need- AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a clinical specialty with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an education or student facilitation role in a clinical setting
- Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and knowledge in education learning theory, leadership abilities and strong collaborative skills
- Contemporary knowledge and use of best practice principles in education.
- Able to provide clinical practice and education consistent with the mission and philosophy of the business
- Demonstrated application of contemporary infection control standards and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to provide contemporary leadership that facilitates the ongoing development of clinical practice
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and implement changes and develop direction in clinical and non-clinical education through planning, quality improvement and research
- High-level knowledge of contemporary adult education, and the ability to translate this into education delivery
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills and proven ability to educate, influence and be credible to a range of health professionals, non-clinical facilities teams, and consumers.
- Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice in a health care education provision.
- Ability to apply and adhere to relevant legislation, standards and organisational policies
- Competence in using a variety of electronic information systems / platforms and educational theory
