About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the day to day operations of SVHA’s enterprise cloud and hybrid platforms
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud, infrastructure and systems engineers
- Act as the technical escalation point for complex incidents and platform outages
- Ensure platforms are secure, resilient, observable and compliant (ISO27001, Essential Eight, SOCI)
- Drive automation, monitoring uplift, patching and lifecycle management
- Partner closely with cybersecurity, networks, applications and clinical stakeholders
- Lead vendor engagements and support disaster recovery, backup and resilience planning
- Contribute to cloud strategy, migration initiatives and digital health transformation programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8–10 years’ experience in cloud or infrastructure operations
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments
- Proven experience supporting Tier 0 / 24×7 systems in regulated or high availability environments
- Strong skills in automation and scripting (Terraform, PowerShell, Bicep, Python)
- Solid understanding of security, identity, backup and disaster recovery
- Excellent stakeholder, incident management and vendor management capability
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Azure Administrator, Solutions Architect, Security Engineer)
