Senior WHS Partner

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Mentor and provide guidance for a small national team of WHS Partners
- Provide expert WHS advice and technical support across all levels of the organisation
- Identify and implement initiatives to meet strategic objectives and improve risk mitigation controls
- Conduct audits, gap analyses, and investigations for significant incidents
- Foster collaborative relationships with HSRs, WHS Committees, and external regulators
- Develop safety work instructions, guidance material, and competency-based education programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a WHS role, ideally within a healthcare or similar complex industry
- Expert knowledge of WHS legislation, codes, standards, and industry practices
- Diploma of WHS and a WHS Incident Investigation qualification (e.g., ICAM)
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and lead a team effectively
- Highly developed communication and conflict resolution skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects
- A valid Driver’s Licence and the flexibility to work across multiple work sites
