About the role
- **As a Community Engagement Volunteer, you will play an important role supporting St Petrocs in your local area.******
- The role will involve your support to raise an understanding of homelessness and St Petrocs’ work in your community. ****
- You’ll give short talks, run information stands, or represent the charity at local events and schools. ****
- By sharing stories and facts, you’ll help challenge stigma and inspire people to support change. ****
- We ask for a minimum commitment of attending 3 events per year.
Requirements
- **Essential Criteria**
- - Commitment to ending homelessness in Cornwall
- - Reliability and agreement on how much time you can commit to the role.
- - Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- - Responsibility for own and others health and safety whilst undertaking the tasks.
- - Can maintain confidentiality as required.
- - Always represent St Petrocs in a professional manner.
- - Be knowledgeable about the work of St Petrocs or eager to learn more and be confident when answering people’s questions.
- - Confident in talking in public with strong presentation, communication and organisational skills.
- - Can make own arrangements to required venues.
