About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Gather requirements together with Key Users and/or Sponsors, identifying, detailing and executing the business scenarios to be implemented in SAP
Configure the SAP FI module, ensuring the necessary prerequisites for solution implementation
Work with LSMW, SHDB and substitution rules
Analyze SAP Standard-delivered solutions, identifying opportunities to leverage the standard as well as gaps and improvement needs
Support Product Owners and clients with market best practices, contributing to the design of optimal SAP solutions
Act taking into account the particularities and specifics of the Retail sector
Prepare BPDs/EFs (Business Process Documents / Functional Specifications) for gaps and lead solution development together with developers
Preferably perform debugging and technical detailing, supporting the development team in identifying and resolving issues
Participate in all project phases: requirements gathering, design, implementation, post-implementation and support
Analyze and resolve incidents, ensuring continuity and stability of financial processes in SAP

What you’ll need

Strong experience with the SAP FI module
Proven experience in SAP projects, from requirements gathering through implementation and support
Knowledge of SAP FI configuration and parameterization
Experience with LSMW, SHDB and substitution rules
Ability to identify what can be covered by SAP Standard and what requires a gap solution or enhancement
Experience preparing BPDs/EFs (Business Process Documents / Functional Specifications)
Experience interacting with Key Users, Sponsors, Product Owners and development teams
Knowledge of processes and particularities of the Retail sector
Strong analytical, communication and business process understanding skills
This position is for engagement as a contractor (PJ)
