About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive medical services in practice and hospital settings
- Perform history and physical examinations and routine exams
- Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on evidence-based medicine
- Communicate regularly with referring physicians, patients, and families
- Educate patients and families about health care, wellness, and prevention
- Evaluate and implement patient health care needs
- Manage patient treatment programs based on assessed needs
- Initiate treatment through prescriptions, diagnostic tests, examinations, and procedures
- Review laboratory results and plan actions accordingly
- Perform routine health maintenance activities

Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Completion of residency and/or fellowship in the area of specialty
- Current or recent experience in the area of specialty
- MD or DO licensed by the state licensure board within the state of practice
- Board certified or board eligible in the area of specialty by the appropriate medical board
- Ability to perform the listed physical and sensory requirements, including standing, walking, lifting, and moving patients
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with network and departmental policies
