About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides medical services in the general care and treatment of patients in both practice and hospital settings.
- Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen.
- Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on best practice evidenced based medicine.
- Manage patient treatment program based on assessment of needs.
- Initiates treatment via prescriptions, diagnostic tests, exams and procedures.
- Reviews lab results and plans actions according to results.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an accredited medical school and completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
- Current or recent experience in area of specialty.
- MD or DO - licensed by the state licensure board within the State of practice.
- Board Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty by the appropriate medical board.
