About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients as prescribed
  • Operates and maintains hyperbaric chamber and systems
  • Prepares chamber, equipment, and maintains safety logs
  • Explains treatment to patients and observes them during therapy
  • Assists with transport of patients and maintains inventory of supplies
  • Participates in education programs and maintains cleanliness of department

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Certified Hyperbaric Tech (CHT) credentials preferred
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or national certification eligibility
  • Minimum of one year of clinical hyperbaric systems operation preferred
  • Must attend a UHMS approved 40 hour hyperbaric course within the first 3 months of employment
  • Hyperbaric Certification preferred within 3 years of employment
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
