About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform various CT Scans and assist Radiologist during performance of invasive procedures
- Directly assist Radiologist during invasive procedures and perform CT scan examinations
- Communicate clinical observations during CT Scan examinations
- Present clinical history to Radiologist
- Demonstrate competency in RIS/HIS modules
- Inject contrast for CT Scans
- Complete patient CT questionnaire
- Perform 3-D imaging functions
- Provide educational information to patients regarding their examination
- Adhere to downtime procedures for continuity of care
- Accountable for quality of digital images sent to PACS
- Verify correct patient selection from worklist
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program, or AART registered
- Advanced registry in CT required
- One-year staff technologist experience
- Recent CT Scan experience preferred
- Advanced CT registry required within one year of hire
- History of computer usage experience required
