About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform various CT Scans and assist Radiologist during performance of invasive procedures
  • Directly assist Radiologist during invasive procedures and perform CT scan examinations
  • Communicate clinical observations during CT Scan examinations
  • Present clinical history to Radiologist
  • Demonstrate competency in RIS/HIS modules
  • Inject contrast for CT Scans
  • Complete patient CT questionnaire
  • Perform 3-D imaging functions
  • Provide educational information to patients regarding their examination
  • Adhere to downtime procedures for continuity of care
  • Accountable for quality of digital images sent to PACS
  • Verify correct patient selection from worklist

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program, or AART registered
  • Advanced registry in CT required
  • One-year staff technologist experience
  • Recent CT Scan experience preferred
  • Advanced CT registry required within one year of hire
  • History of computer usage experience required
