Paramedic, Full Time and Per Diem

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administering appropriate level care to patients
- Working within their certification via the "scope of practice"
- Assessing the nature and extent of injury or illness
- Rescuing and extricating victims of accidents
- Treating patients at the scene, en route to the hospital
- Providing ambulance stand-by services at events
- Documentation of assessments and treatment rendered
- Participates in continuous quality improvement
- Completes vehicle and equipment accountability checklist
Requirements
What you’ll need- PA certified Paramedic
- 6 months or more experience as a paramedic preferred
- Current BLS, PALS, ACLS certifications
- EMSVO certification
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Must observe all traffic laws
- Must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Must be free from physical or mental defects that may impair driving an ambulance
