About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supports the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of K–16 STEMM curriculum
Collaborates with researchers, physicians, educators, and internal teams to create instructional materials
Contributes across the full curriculum design lifecycle—from concept development to implementation
Ensures all learning experiences are scientifically accurate, accessible, rigorous, and grounded in authentic biomedical research
Writes and edits instructional content, including teacher guides, student materials, and assessments
Develops interactive digital learning modules and multimedia assets
Applies evidence-based instructional design methodologies throughout the curriculum development process
Incorporates feedback to iteratively improve curriculum quality
Manages multiple curriculum development projects simultaneously
Maintains current knowledge of instructional design and STEM education through ongoing professional learning.
Performs other related duties as assigned to support departmental goals.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, STEM Education, Curriculum and Instruction or related field
Master’s degree preferred
Three (3) years of professional experience in instructional design, curriculum development, learning experience design, or a related field
Demonstrated experience designing and developing instructional materials, curriculum, or digital learning experiences from concept through implementation
Experience using instructional design and multimedia development tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Vyond, Canva, or similar) preferred.
