About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supports the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of K–16 STEMM curriculum
  • Collaborates with researchers, physicians, educators, and internal teams to create instructional materials
  • Contributes across the full curriculum design lifecycle—from concept development to implementation
  • Ensures all learning experiences are scientifically accurate, accessible, rigorous, and grounded in authentic biomedical research
  • Writes and edits instructional content, including teacher guides, student materials, and assessments
  • Develops interactive digital learning modules and multimedia assets
  • Applies evidence-based instructional design methodologies throughout the curriculum development process
  • Incorporates feedback to iteratively improve curriculum quality
  • Manages multiple curriculum development projects simultaneously
  • Maintains current knowledge of instructional design and STEM education through ongoing professional learning.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to support departmental goals.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, STEM Education, Curriculum and Instruction or related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Three (3) years of professional experience in instructional design, curriculum development, learning experience design, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing instructional materials, curriculum, or digital learning experiences from concept through implementation
  • Experience using instructional design and multimedia development tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Vyond, Canva, or similar) preferred.
