About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of K–16 STEMM curriculum
- Collaborates with researchers, physicians, educators, and internal teams to create instructional materials
- Contributes across the full curriculum design lifecycle—from concept development to implementation
- Ensures all learning experiences are scientifically accurate, accessible, rigorous, and grounded in authentic biomedical research
- Writes and edits instructional content, including teacher guides, student materials, and assessments
- Develops interactive digital learning modules and multimedia assets
- Applies evidence-based instructional design methodologies throughout the curriculum development process
- Incorporates feedback to iteratively improve curriculum quality
- Manages multiple curriculum development projects simultaneously
- Maintains current knowledge of instructional design and STEM education through ongoing professional learning.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support departmental goals.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, STEM Education, Curriculum and Instruction or related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- Three (3) years of professional experience in instructional design, curriculum development, learning experience design, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing instructional materials, curriculum, or digital learning experiences from concept through implementation
- Experience using instructional design and multimedia development tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Vyond, Canva, or similar) preferred.
