Key Responsibilities As a Strategic Planning Specialist, you will: Complete portions of strategic plan development management process for departments and programs; develop business plans with guidance. Perform statistical analysis to unlock trends and key insights critical for the success of St. Jude; summarize findings, reporting in applicable reports and track performance. Identify process improvement opportunities, better tools and templates to support planning and executing initiatives. Form productive relationships with program areas within St. Jude. Serve as a project manager for small standard projects; facilitate discussions at internal SPDS meetings. Maintain strategic planning tools to support strategic plan management; create documentation in adherence to applicable federal, state and local safety, health regulations and standards. Develop proficiency in two strategic planning tools. May mentor and provide guidance to members within the team
Requirements
- Minimum Education & Training: Bachelor’s degree required with 4+ years experience in healthcare focused strategic planning or related field Master’s degree preferred with 2+ years experience in healthcare focused strategic planning or related field Minimum Experience: Background in healthcare-focused strategic planning or a related field required. Experience with strategic planning processes, organizational problem solving, research management, operations, and project management preferred Prior EPIC, ESRI experience preferred. Proficiency in Excel / PowerPoint preferred. Experience with Business intelligence tools ( Tableau/Power BI) a plus. Demonstrated success in previous roles.
