About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Configure, monitor, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure across multiple sites
Ensure network performance, availability, and security meet organizational standards
Diagnose and resolve complex network issues promptly to minimize downtime
Provide Tier III support for escalated network problems
Plan and execute network hardware/software upgrades and migrations
Deploy and integrate new technologies to optimize network performance
Implement and enforce network security policies, firewalls, and VPN configurations
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies
Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, and operational documentation
Prepare reports on network health, capacity planning, and incident resolution
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have at least a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a relevant discipline
7+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering roles
Proven experience managing multi-site network environments
U.S. Person status or government authorization required
Expertise in Cisco or similar networking technologies (routing, switching, firewalls)
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and network security principles
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies
CCNP or equivalent preferred
