Key responsibilities & impact
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure across multiple sites
  • Ensure network performance, availability, and security meet organizational standards
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network issues promptly to minimize downtime
  • Provide Tier III support for escalated network problems
  • Plan and execute network hardware/software upgrades and migrations
  • Deploy and integrate new technologies to optimize network performance
  • Implement and enforce network security policies, firewalls, and VPN configurations
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies
  • Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, and operational documentation
  • Prepare reports on network health, capacity planning, and incident resolution
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have at least a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a relevant discipline
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering roles
  • Proven experience managing multi-site network environments
  • U.S. Person status or government authorization required
  • Expertise in Cisco or similar networking technologies (routing, switching, firewalls)
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and network security principles
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies
  • CCNP or equivalent preferred
