About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Stage case carts for each room adjacent to assigned core
Maintain proper inventory and organization of instruments
Return unused supplies and instruments to appropriate department
Answer core phones and provide support to rooms as necessary
Coordinate with charge RN and Sterile Processing with changes or add-ons in schedule
Ensure a cleared cart is accessible to OR rooms by closing of case

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED
AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification preferred
Surgical Technologist Certification preferred
1 year of experience in Surgical Technology or Sterile Processing required
2 years experience in a high volume, multiple specialties operating room preferred
