About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide surgery for solid tumors including soft tissue, melanoma, endocrine, and breast
Responsible for medical, surgical, and postoperative management of patients
Work in collaboration with other medical specialties
Participate in after-hours practice call for patients

Requirements

What you’ll need

Graduation from an accredited medical school
Successful completion of an accredited residency program in General Surgery
Successful completion of a Fellowship Program in Surgical Oncology
Board certified in General Surgery with added certification in Surgical Oncology
Maintain unrestricted DEA number
Maintain unrestricted ability to participate in Medicare / Medicaid, or other federal or state governmental health care programs
Completion of Fellowship in Surgical Oncology (preferred)
