About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate delivery of leave of absence/disability programs with benefit vendors
  • Support HR Business Partners, leaders, and employees with communication and administrative support for leave of absence/disability programs
  • Lead and support projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, employee experience, and service delivery
  • Work with human resources information systems to implement or revise leave/disability interfaces
  • Assist with development and maintenance of leave/disability policies, procedures, communications, and educational resources
  • Participate in development of employee benefit policies and procedures
  • Serve as the team's subject matter expert for complex leave administration, compliance oversight, and operational support
  • Ensure consistent application of federal, state, and local leave laws
  • Provide guidance on leave and disability programs, deliver training and presentations, and leverage data to improve processes and outcomes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience and education
  • Three years of experience
  • Experience in leave of absence administration
  • Experience in disability management
  • Experience in overall benefits administration
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry
  • Ability to perform the stated physical requirements, including occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of objects weighing 25–50 lbs
  • No professional license or certification required
