About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive, champion, and execute initiatives supporting transformation of the SSM Health landscape
  • Understand current business processes, future goals, and system functionality to identify solutions and execute change
  • Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including hiring, performance management, training and development, compensation recommendations, and separations
  • Manage HR technology installations, conversions, and upgrades; develop implementation plans; evaluate automation opportunities and cost-benefit analyses
  • Synchronize projects and interdependencies, coordinate resource capacity, facilitate transitions to operations, and drive organizational change
  • Translate business needs into innovative technology solutions and features
  • Build, maintain, and implement strategic roadmaps for HR Centers of Excellence, including user experience, talent, recruiting, learning, total rewards, and HR service delivery
  • Manage project risks and issues, establish success metrics, and track project performance
  • Create metrics and dashboards for workload and team productivity; monitor and report SLAs and KPIs
  • Address critical system performance issues and support demand management and capacity planning
  • Provide thought leadership on HR technology solutions and strategies
  • Serve as strategist, problem solver, team enabler, and barrier remover across HR technology and the broader HR team
  • Lead teams and create a culture of innovation and trust
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience leading HR technology teams
  • Strong expertise in Workday administration, optimization, and strategy
  • Demonstrated people leadership and talent development experience
  • Experience leading system enhancements, process improvements, and organizational change initiatives
  • Ability to partner across departments to align technology solutions with business needs
  • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five years’ experience, including two years’ leadership and two years’ Information Technology change management
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0–25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements
  • Frequent vision and depth perception for near and far distances and color identification
  • Frequent hearing and speech for oral communication; ability to hear alarms and malfunctioning machinery
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and gripping
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25–50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing
  • No required professional license or certification
