About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze patient experience feedback, survey scores, comments, focus groups, advisory councils, complaints, observations, and stakeholder perspectives
  • Coach leaders, managers, frontline staff, departments, and select areas on patient experience improvement
  • Develop and implement strategies, programs, services, training, coaching, and tactics to improve patient experience scores
  • Build reporting mechanisms and communication pathways for targeted improvement initiatives
  • Develop and facilitate in-services, educational programs, targeted coaching, and training
  • Facilitate timely, respectful, and compassionate resolution of patient and customer complaints and grievances
  • Provide patient experience and service recovery referrals to appropriate stakeholders and responsible parties
  • Serve as liaison and consultant to committees, senior leadership, ministry leaders, and teams
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's degree or equivalent years of experience and education
  • Five years' experience
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Detail oriented
  • Knowledge of patient experience
  • Experience with SAS software is beneficial
  • Experience with Power BI is beneficial
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0–25 lbs
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for near and far distances and to identify and distinguish colors
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech for oral communication
  • Ability to hear alarms and malfunctioning machinery
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and gripping
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25–50 lbs
  • Rare climbing
  • No required professional license and/or certifications
  • Must reside within the metro St. Louis region
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
