About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Schedules fire alarm and fire sprinkler system inspections.
  • Perform on-site inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repair and installation of fire suppression systems (e.g. water, clean agents, and chemical).
  • Runs testing and inspection on fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.
  • Coordinates with the local fire department to avoid response to testing.
  • Completes repairs of the fire alarm system and/or the suppression system.
  • Reports results of testing and inspection in line with the requirements of appropriate authorities.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Water-Based NICET II Certification or Willing to Obtain Required
  • High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
  • Five years' experience
  • Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarms - Level II - National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET)
  • Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems - Level II - National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET)
