About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Schedules fire alarm and fire sprinkler system inspections.
- Perform on-site inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repair and installation of fire suppression systems (e.g. water, clean agents, and chemical).
- Runs testing and inspection on fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.
- Coordinates with the local fire department to avoid response to testing.
- Completes repairs of the fire alarm system and/or the suppression system.
- Reports results of testing and inspection in line with the requirements of appropriate authorities.
- Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Water-Based NICET II Certification or Willing to Obtain Required
- High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
- Five years' experience
- Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarms - Level II - National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET)
- Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems - Level II - National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET)
